Our vision is to support and develop photography and more generally, good visual communication, in Indonesia with a focus on photojournalism. Our mission is to realize this vision through education and community initiatives. Panna Institute was founded in 2006 with the help of the Netherlands-based World Press Photo Foundation. In line with our vision and mission we hold workshops, classes, seminars, exhibitions and other associated activities. We run media workshops and seminars for domestic newspapers and other concerned organizations, and work with foreign institutions to bring in guest mentors and speakers to assist the transfer of knowledge.
